Ukraine has brought back another 160 defenders from russian captivity, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.

Among those released are service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service. All of them had been held in Russian captivity since 2022.

The defenders took part in the defense of Ukraine in Mariupol and at Azovstal, as well as on the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy fronts.
