The Ukrainian Navy destroyed six Russian two-seat Su-34M fighter-bombers.
The Ukrainian Navy’s press service reported this . They noted that on the night of October 15, the Ukrainian Navy used a Neptune coastal defense missile system to strike the Borisoglebsk military airfield in Russia’s Voronezh region.
“As a result of the strike, six Su-34M bombers were damaged. Technical equipment supporting aviation flights was also destroyed, and repeated detonations and a fire were recorded at the airfield,” the statement said.
The military detailed that the Su-34M is capable of simultaneously carrying several guided and high-explosive aerial bombs, as well as various types of missiles, and is one of the key assets of Russian aviation for delivering guided aerial bomb strikes against Defense Force positions and frontline settlements.

“The destruction of hostile Su-34Ms significantly weakens the enemy’s aviation potential and reduces the intensity of tactical aviation use in the corresponding areas of the front,” the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.

Damaged or destroyed? A flat counts as damaged, blown up completely counts as destroyed. 🧐
