Ukrainian drones destroyed two helicopters at Simferopol airport on August 30, according to the AviaVector community, which is engaged in satellite reconnaissance of air bases.

It is reported that the movement of drones towards Simferopol airport was recorded at around 09:30 on August 30.

“Later, a video of a fire near the airport appeared online. According to preliminary data, based on a comparison of images from August 30 at 09:02 UTC [12:02 Kyiv time] and August 22 at 09:07 UTC [12:07 Kyiv time], the fire is visible in the area where the Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters were located,” AviaVector said in a post on X (Twitter) .
