Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia had disrupted
the ceasefire previously announced by Ukraine. He said that Ukraine would respond in kind to what the Kremlin had done.
He reported this on his Telegram channel. According to him, the Russian army launched drones over Ukrainian cities and was actively operating on the front.

According to him, as of this day, Ukraine states that Russia has broken the silence regime. At the same time, according to him, after yesterday’s strikes on the Dnieper, Zaporizhia, Kramatorsk, etc., the Russian army continued shelling this day, in particular, continuing its activity at the front.
“Assault operations are ongoing in all key areas of the front, and since the beginning of this day alone, the Russian army has already carried out almost 30 assault operations. More than 20 air strikes using more than 70 aerial bombs have been recorded during tonight and this morning alone,” he said.
The head of state also noted that as of 10:00 a.m., the Russian army had committed 1,820 violations of the ceasefire. He stated that Ukraine would not simply leave this to chance.
“Ukraine has clearly stated that it will act in a mirror manner, given the intrusive Russian appeals through the media and social networks asking for silence during the Moscow parade. It is obvious to all normal people that a full-scale war and daily killings of people are a bad time for public “celebrations,” he summarizes.
Based on the evening reports from the army command and intelligence, the president says, Kyiv will decide on further actions.
Recall that earlier Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a regime of silence, which will begin at 00:00 on the night of May 5 to 6. The Ukrainian side will act in a mirror manner, starting from the specified moment.
