Unknown drones flew into Novocherkassk, Rostov Oblast, Russia, on the night of July 23. Previously, the local power plant in the Donsky microdistrict was hit; power outages were observed in the city.
Online communities shared relevant photos and videos. Local residents reported hearing the sounds of UAVs, air defense systems, and explosions. Fires broke out in several locations.
Local Telegram channels stated that the drone debris fell near the railway station and also hit the territory of Rostelecom (its building was damaged).
Another downed drone fell in an open area in the Nesvitayskyi district of the city.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of July 22, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces carried out another strike on targets in Russia related to the terrorist country’s military-industrial complex. This time,
the Novokuybyshevsk petrochemical plant came under attack from UAVs.
