Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said that Ukraine and the US are negotiating an agreement on American investments in Ukrainian drone production.
According to European Pravda, Svyrydenko made the relevant statement during a conversation with journalists.
According to him, Ukraine plans to sign the so-called “drone agreement” with the US. Currently, Kyiv and Washington are discussing investments in the production of Ukrainian drones in the US.
A political decision on this issue was previously made by Presidents Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump.
Svyrydenko added that Ukrainian and American officials are currently discussing the details of the agreement.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 3, former Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that Ukraine is capable of producing 10 million UAVs annually, provided that sufficient funding is available.
Recall that the day before, the US President’s Special Envoy Keith Kellogg visited Ukrainian defense enterprises, noting “incredible innovations” in the production of UAVs.
We also wrote that Ukraine has developed ammunition for small arms that increases the chance of hitting FPV drones.
