Ukraine looks to expand its defense sector with Boeing’s expertise in aerial weapons and UAVs

Ukraine continues to strengthen its defense partnerships, with the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov holding negotiations with a delegation from Boeing Defence, led by Executive Director Steven Parker. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in the production of ammunition and aerial weapons, with a particular emphasis on the potential for joint UAV manufacturing.

This meeting is part of Ukraine’s broader strategy to engage global defense industry leaders in enhancing the country’s security and military capabilities. Rustem Umerov expressed gratitude to Boeing for the constructive dialogue and reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to deepening its defense industry collaborations.

  1. That’s more good news for Ukraine. Another arms heavyweight wants to work together with the country, which has the world’s bravest and most effective military force.

  2. Ukraine are collecting a nice array of military defence corporations. This can only be good news for Ukraine.

    • Ukraine was one of the premier arms manufacturers in the SU. Now, it’s on its way to be so in Europe.
