On May 7, a famous Ukrainian scientist, UAV designer, and constructor Andriy Humennyi died in Kharkiv. His car was blown up.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Censor.NET reports .
The death of a well-known Ukrainian UAV designer, chief designer of the aviation scientific and technical limited liability company “KNK”, which occurred as a result of the explosion of his car, will not go unpunished, all structures are involved in the search and capture of the perpetrators of this crime, he noted.
Umerov expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
The minister also called Humenny’s death “an irreparable loss for the entire Ukrainian aviation industry.”
It should be noted that at the time of publication of the news, Rustem Umerov had deleted information about the death of Andriy Humenny from his page.
