U.S. concerned about advance of Russian troops in Ukraine – Austin

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has said that the United States is concerned about the advance of Russian occupation forces in Ukraine.

That’s according to Reuters, Ukrinform reports.

Austin said the United States was concerned about advances by Russia in Ukraine, to which U.S. security assistance would continue.

He said he was encouraged by Ukraine’s ability to recruit more people to beef-up its own ranks.

“I applaud what the Ukrainians continue to do to make sure that they can hold their own,” he said.

“The Ukrainians are very determined people,” Austin said

According to British intelligence, Russian forces will continue their tactical advance on the eastern front in the coming weeks.

  1. Hey Austin. If you’re so concerned, why not let Ukraine destroy the glide bombs in Russia, before they get off the ground. Did Putin warn you on the phone not to do that? Why don’t you announce your retirement. You and Biden can play checkers together.

    Seriously?
The US is not allowing Ukraine to do something the US would not hesitate doing; smash the enemy’s rear areas to bits and pieces, especially AIRFIELDS. We also have masses of stuff still sitting around uselessly, baking in the sun.
    And now Washington is “concerned”.

  3. “Ukrainian military analyst Kostiantyn Mashovets highlighted that defenders on the Pokrovsk front are disadvantaged by inferior equipment and defensive capabilities and are currently unable to significantly hinder the Russian advance.
Delays in Western, particularly American, military aid have hampered the equipping of newly formed Ukrainian units and the re-equipping of those already engaged in combat.”

The harsh reality is hitting Ukraine and kyiv’s real supporters hard. In the West, the “leaders” are doing everything to force Ukraine to negotiate (before the elections) on the terms of the Nazis in Moscow, because the current situation puts Ukraine in a position where it cannot dictate any conditions.

Beyond the obvious of completely helping and saving Ukraine, we could have neutralized the Red Threat for decades. We are getting them back on track. We will all pay for this. What do you want, American diplomacy and foreign policy seem as addicted as Hollywood screenplays to the representation of the eternal best Soviet enemy…

    Sad fucking world.
