On the night of October 10, two ships were damaged at the Port of Azov as a result of a drone attack on Russia’s Rostov region.
This was reported by the governor of the Rostov region.
The official did not specify the names of the damaged ships or the nature of the damage they sustained.
The Port of Azov is home to a commercial seaport in the Don River Delta, which facilitates the transshipment of cargo between river and sea transport. The port has access to the Sea of Azov via the Azov-Don Sea Canal.
According to the Russian Ministry of Transport, one of the port’s largest operators—Azov Sea Port JSC—has 11 berths with a total length of 1,485 meters. The declared throughput capacity of its cargo terminal is 5.64 million metric tons per year.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that on July 10, 2026, Ukrainian drones struck an oil depot in Azov. At that time, tanks containing petroleum products caught fire.
In addition, during the attack on October 10, Ukrainian drones struck the oil loading terminal at the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in Rostov-on-Don. A massive fire broke out on the refinery’s grounds.
