So the US desperately need Greenland for security, yet they can’t even look after security in their own country.
From Ukraine Breaking News
⚡️ “What gives Trump the idea that the only way to deal with one of America’s closest allies — like Denmark — is through military threats?”
— John Bolton
Comment from :
Paul Mayoh
“Every one of Trump’s policies only make sense if you assume that Trump was ordered to carry them out by Putin. Presumably Putin has Kompromat against Trump so serious that Trump is forced to carry out everyone of Putin’s requests. When Trump was running beauty contests he used to wander into the girl’s changing rooms to watch them change. It is easy to imagine what this Kompromat might be.”
John Bolton in the DT :
“This Greenland grab is Trump’s worst move yet. And that’s saying something.”
“Nothing America needs in the country requires sovereignty or military force.
Donald Trump’s extraordinary tariff threat against the United Kingdom and other countries for things they have said or done regarding Greenland is without doubt his most dangerous and destructive assertion during the five years of his presidency. To say it is without precedent radically understates how foolish and contrary to fundamental American interests it is.
Apart from the ignorance of history and incoherence of Trump’s social-media post, its ramifications for the special relationship and Nato alliance – indeed for the credibility and trust the United States has spent decades trying to establish – is incalculable. Many Trump supporters try to downplay Trump’s rhetorical outbursts by saying “that’s just the way he talks.” All too often, however, Trump actually means what he says. Others say we should take Trump “seriously but not literally,” but that provides no comfort either. Neither alternative can mitigate his appalling statements……”
“that’s just the way he talks” – Since he can’t write, its all we have to go on. And… our only chance to survive 3 more years is, god forbid I should wish bad on our supreme leader, another couple of strokes should do it.
