Activist and one of Donald Trump’s favorite bloggers, Laura Lumer, responded to the U.S. president’s call for Ukraine to replace its head of state. She outlined her position on the social media platform X.
According to Lumer, for elections to take place in Ukraine, pressure must be put on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to bring an end to the war. She noted that there are currently no elections in the country due to martial law, which is in effect amid a state of emergency and hostilities that have been ongoing for five years. “I am certain: as soon as Putin ends the war, elections will be held in Ukraine,” she wrote.
Demanding the replacement of the Ukrainian president right now is illogical, the blogger believes, since elections can and will certainly take place as soon as Putin agrees to end the war. “Putin could easily stop the attacks on Ukraine, but he refuses to do so.
Let him stop the war, and elections will be held in Ukraine,” Lumer stated. She also wondered why so few people are outraged by Putin’s actions, since, according to her, he is the source of all the problems related to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
It should be noted that Trump called for a change of president in Ukraine. In his view, Ukrainians need a new leader who can reach an agreement with Russia.
