Russia’s casualties in the war against Ukraine reached more than 50,000 in September, including 28,000 killed, which significantly exceeds the casualties of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported, citing a NATO military spokesperson, by Bloomberg.

The Russian military is attempting to advance into Ukrainian territory, sending soldiers into “death zones”, where drones, landmines, artillery fire, and other means of defense and counterattack are being used, according to media reports.

A source for the publication, speaking on condition of anonymity, reported that during the same period the Ukrainian Defense Forces suffered casualties totaling about 5,000 people.

As a reminder, Russia suffered record casualties in September—46,230 people. Compared to the first month of the year—January (31,710 people)—the enemy’s losses in September increased by 14,520 people, representing a 45.8% rise.

Since the start of the full-scale war, the Russian army’s irreplaceable losses have been approximately 14 times higher than those of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during an appearance on Fox News.
