Trump withdraws security from former top adviser Bolton

Shortly after taking office, US President Donald Trump has cut security for his former top aide John Bolton, the former National Security Advisor confirmed to CNN. Bolton was a top adviser to Trump during his first term, but later became very critical of his former boss, calling Trump unfit for the presidency in a book.

The Secret Service is still guarding Bolton because he is said to be threatened by Iranians.

Trump also withdrew his protection years ago, but his successor Joe Biden later reversed that decision. Bolton tells CNN it’s “disappointing but not surprising” that Trump is now removing his security again.

He says he was also critical of Biden’s policies, but that Biden decided to have him back under surveillance anyway.

  1. Trump is such a juvenile. But, why not? He speaks like one, so naturally he thinks and acts like one.

  2. “He says he was also critical of Biden’s policies, but that Biden decided to have him back under surveillance anyway.”

That’s because President Biden is a decent human being.
