What did Trump thank Xi and Putin for?

“I want to thank President Xi of China. I met with him, and he remained neutral, absolutely neutral. And I appreciate that. I also want to thank Vladimir Putin. He was very neutral,” Trump said.

He noted that Xi and Putin “could make our task much more difficult.” The US president said he had asked the Chinese leader not to supply certain weapons to Iran.

“They have man-portable weapons to shoot down planes. I said I would be very grateful if you would not transfer or sell any of this to Iran. And you know what? For the most part, they did not. So I just want to thank them, because they made the situation much easier,” the US leader said. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/n4008928

  1. Is this the neutral guy that was supplying intel to Iran, enabling them to murder US servicemen?
