The official added that the next step would be to discuss a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
The administration of US President Donald Trump has seen progress in the ceasefire process between Russia and Ukraine, which supposedly began after Trump himself spoke with Russian dictator Putin.

This was stated by White House National Security Advisor Michael Walz, CBS News reports . Journalists reminded him that Ukraine agreed to Trump’s proposal for a 30-day ceasefire without any conditions, unlike Russia, which said it would limit strikes only to energy infrastructure.
And in this regard, the official was asked to clarify what the goal of Trump’s dialogue with Putin was at the time. To which Volz replied that they were closer to peace in Ukraine than ever before. According to him, it all started with President Trump talking to both the head of the Kremlin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, after which he and Secretary of State Marco Rubio involved the Russians and Ukrainians in negotiations at their level.
“Now we have technical teams, actually with Ukrainians and Russians in the same room, conducting negotiations at close range. There will be progress, we have this ceasefire from the air on infrastructure. This happened right after Trump’s conversation with Putin this week,” said Volz.
The official added that the next step would be to discuss a ceasefire in the Black Sea to allow for the transport of grain, fuel and the resumption of trade in the region. After that, the plan is to move on to discussing the Line of Control, which is effectively the front line.
“And that goes for verification mechanisms, peacekeepers, freezing the lines where they are, and then, to a broader and more permanent peace that would include a discussion of territories to achieve permanent peace,” a White House official shared the plans.
30-day ceasefire
This idea was put forward by Trump. Zelensky, who was accused by Trump of being unwilling to end the war, has already agreed to it. The Americans hoped that Putin would also agree to this proposal, but it did not happen as expected. Instead of agreeing, Putin put forward a whole series of demands to Trump .

Ukraine have already sorted that problem out, without the interference of the US and mafia land. Who the fuck is supplying intelligence to these clowns? Oh, that’s right, Gabbardski.
By Jove, this guy is as clueless as he’s brainless.
Ukraine is getting attacked via air every day and night. The newspapers in Kinsasha even know about it, and this discombobulated buffoon speaks of an air truce being in effect.
