Neither Ukraine nor the Russian Federation has officially confirmed this information yet.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance in the border zone of the Belgorod region and have taken control of the village of Demydivka in the Krasnoyaruz district. This is reported by Russian military bloggers on Telegram.

“As we were informed, unfortunately, the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Demydivka. They did not gain a foothold. Fighting is ongoing,” writes Z-blogger Kyrylo Fedorov.

The Alex Parker Returns channel clarifies that Demydivka is still occupied by Ukrainian forces. “Our units have retreated,” he adds.

Military blogger Vladimir Romanov agrees with him.

“Demydivka is a Russian territory temporarily occupied by Ukraine. The village is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The forces holding the village simply withdrew from it, as a result of which the enemy occupied the village. The moment of the enemy’s demining of the road to the village and the moment when the enemy’s engineering equipment stretched the “teeth of the dragon” were also “missed”, – writes Romanov and adds that the Russian troops are trying to retake the village.

The Military Informant channel complains that, as in the case of the first days in Kursk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are diligently keeping quiet about the current operation, which does not allow for an accurate understanding of the situation on the ground. According to the channel’s author, Ukraine is seriously determined to create a new point of tension for the Russians instead of the almost completely lost bridgehead in the Kursk region. In this regard, the blogger expects the transfer of new Ukrainian reinforcements to the Belgorod region.

At the same time, some Russian Z-bloggers are trying to reassure their audience and claim that Russian “fire units” have carried out a successful counterattack and retaken the village.

At the same time, there are no objective control footage (photos and videos) from the scene of the events yet, so it is impossible to either confirm or deny the reports of Russian military bloggers. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not yet confirmed the entry of Ukrainian units into the territory of the Belgorod region .
