Rants from Kyiv šŗš¦ War Editor, Kyiv Independent
Some really weird stuff is happening here in Ukraine and I really hope I’m wrong because the possible implications of it are horrific.
It looks like the United States is now actively helping Russia fight its war..

Roman Sheremeta :
āIf I could just take you through Ukraine to Kyiv. To Odesa. To Kharkiv. You meet these people. The people. Theyāre us.ā

The Trump administration has officially threatened to cut off ALL intelligence sharing with Ukraine if it continues attacking russian energy facilities.
American intelligence officials delivered this warning directly to the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington.
One source described the pressure as so widespread that practically anyone with a Ukrainian-sounding surname received a call.
Russia continues launching ballistic missiles at Ukrainian cities, destroying energy infrastructure and killing civilians. Meanwhile, Ukraine is being pressured to stop attacking the russian oil refineries that help finance Putinās war.
Today, Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine did not receive advance warnings from its partners about recent russian ballistic missile attacks.

Trump: āI wonāt call Vladimir Putin a ādictatorā because I need to make deals with him. Iāve always been a very good deal maker. I became very rich because of deals. So I donāt go around mocking people.ā
This is the man who constantly calls people names and mocks them.
The mango Mussolini is a disgusting punk who has caused more damage to our once great country than any enemy could’ve done. He IS an enemy to our country!
Ukraine Now :
Trumpās Russian Payday Only Cashes If Ukraine Surrenders
Putin dangled $80 billion in business to Witkoff and Kushner. The price was Ukraineās surrender. Now Trump is trying to deliver it.
Four dead under a collapsed building in Kharkiv. Five ballistic missiles on Kyiv overnight, with no warning call from Washington for the first time anyone can remember. Thatās Trumpās āenergy ceasefireā: Ukraine honoured it, Russia laughed at it, and the only country the White House threatened was the one being bombed.
In 72 hours, Trump eased sanctions on Russian diesel, demanded Ukraine fire its president, announced a ceasefire the Kremlin says doesnāt exist, and had his people threaten Ukraineās generals with a cutoff of weapons and intelligence if they keep hitting Russian refineries. Refineries are what keep Putinās tanks moving and his budget afloat.
Anne Applebaum called it an āabrupt, Hail Mary attemptā to force Ukraine to surrender and save Russiaās economy, perhaps to close the business deals Moscow has discussed with Trumpās envoys.
The timing fits. Diesel is $6.27 a gallon, the midterms are November 3, and the diesel pledge came from Trump, not the Kremlin, whose own readout never mentions it.
