Ukraine wants to end the war by making it unsustainable for Russia by hitting energy and digital infrastructure. Russia wants to force Ukraine to surrender by murdering civilians—and apparently the Trump administration agrees.
The problem isn’t just Trump making deals with American adversary Russia, it’s Trump not thinking of Russia as an adversary at all because he only cares about what benefits him, not the country.

My Take on the Zelensky Interview with Pierce Morgan Today
The last three days have been Hell on earth for Ukraine and President Zelensky. Betrayal after betrayal. In Kyiv, the sirens never stop and the people are exhausted.
All of this shows on the face of Ukraine’s indomitable leader. I can not imagine he has had much sleep this week.
Yes, his content on the Morgan interview was typically on point. His talking points were accurate. Perhaps not as precise as normal. Not as witty, but still truthful. But on today’s show he appeared unusually tired and not the top of his game —which is completely understandable given the last three days of betrayal by Trump and Musk.
As of this week, the war has experienced an inflection point with the United States having taken the position of equipping a diabolical regime in its efforts to rape, murder, torture, steal and kidnap innocent Ukrainians — contrary to United States law.
Between calls by Trump to remove Zelensky, Musk rendering Starlink largely unusable by throttling it down, the US cutting of Starshiled intel, the US funding Russian war machine through diesel purchase, the abandonment of American law prohibiting such actions, and two days without intel to defend against incoming missiles amidst increased Russian strikes — it is a week which has taken a toll.
Even so Zelensky’s message on Musk was pointed. Musk throttled down Starlink, making it unusable when it really matters. That was wrong. People will die because of Musk’s decision.
His message on Trump: We have lost our partner.
The worst part of the interview was what happened afterwards after President Zelensky left.
Morgan YET AGAIN made the mistake of including two pro-Russian sycophants, one of whom (Scott Horton) is a disreputable, conspiratorial, foul-mouthed, hateful, anarchical, Putin-sanitizing, pro-Russian commentator, masquerading as an expert — to dissect the Ukrainian President.
And once again, Morgan allowed Horton to hog the platform spouting a never ending stream of misinformation, machine gun style conspiracy and historical falsehood in a word salad designed to incite and prove to the world that Maidan was a CIA coup, and that Putin does not want to go back to the Soviet Union.
Piers, please listen — better to wait for another day to bring on the Kremlin appeasers.
I must admit I did not watch the kremtroll section of the broadcast. It sounds abhorrent.
