Trump headed the US Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, – US Treasury Secretary

The fund is designed to attract American companies, resources, and specialists to help rebuild Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump initiated the creation and headed the US Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant said.

He joined the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome via video link and presented the Reconstruction Investment Fund.

It is noted that it was created to mobilize American companies, resources, and specialists for the restoration of Ukraine.

“With sound macroeconomic management and strong foreign investment, Ukraine’s economic future will be much stronger than its past. The Reconstruction Investment Fund is the key to unlocking that successful future. The United States will work to ensure that no individual, state, or company that finances or supplies the Russian military machine benefits from Ukraine’s reconstruction,” Bessent said.

Restoration of Ukraine

The largest American investment company BlackRock has suspended the search for investors for the Ukraine recovery fund after Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections.

According to some sources of Bloomberg, BlackRock planned to announce the creation of the fund in Italy during the Ukraine Recovery Conference on July 10-11.
