US President Donald Trump said he had a “wonderful” conversation with Belarus “President” Alexander Lukashenko. According to the American leader, the purpose of the call was to thank the self-proclaimed leader of Belarus for the release of 16 prisoners.
“We are also discussing the release of another 1,300 prisoners. Our conversation was very good. We discussed many topics, including Putin’s visit to Alaska. I look forward to meeting Lukashenko in the future,” Trump wrote on Truth Social .
