The US President spoke about the upcoming negotiations in Turkey.
The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has made a statement regarding a possible meeting between Ukraine and Russia in Turkey. It could take place as early as Thursday, May 15.
“I was very insistent that this meeting take place. I think great things can come out of this meeting,” he said during a press conference .
Trump noted that 5,000 Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are dying in the war every week.
“They are not American soldiers, they are from Russia and Ukraine, but they are people. These are human souls, and they are being killed at a level we have not seen since World War II,” the American president added.
In addition, Trump said that he was considering flying to Istanbul, where a meeting between Ukraine and Russia is to take place.
“President Erdogan will be a great host. I think the meeting on Thursday in Turkey between Russia and Ukraine could lead to a good result. And I think both leaders will be there. I’m thinking about flying there. I don’t know where I’ll be on Thursday, I have so many meetings. But I was thinking about flying there. There’s a chance it will happen if I think anything can happen. But we have to do it. When you see satellite photos of the battlefield with arms, legs and heads everywhere, it’s absurd. That’s why we’re working very hard to put an end to this bloody massacre,” he said.

While I agree with the above that trumpkov would add nothing helpful to negotiations, it might be good if trumpkov showed and putler didn’t. Maybe trumpkov would throw a hissy-fit about being stood up by his boyfriend, and go along with the EU sanctions.
