It lasted over two hours.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US leader Donald Trump have concluded a telephone conversation that lasted more than two hours.

Putin called the conversation with Trump “meaningful, frank and very useful.”
Trump’s conversation with Putin
Before calling Putin, Trump spoke on the phone with Volodymyr Zelensky, a source for the Ukrainian telethon “Yedynyi Novyny” reported. After the conversation with Putin, Trump intends to call Zelensky again, as well as “various NATO members.”
US Vice President J.D. Vance said earlier that talks to end the war in Ukraine had “slightly” reached an impasse . He suggested that Trump would try to find out from Putin whether he was serious about ending the war. The White House added that Trump was “tired and disappointed with both sides” of the conflict.
“First of all, I thanked the President of the United States for the support from the United States in resuming direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on the possible conclusion of a peace agreement, on the resumption of negotiations that were interrupted by the Ukrainian side, as is known, back in 2022,” the Russian leader said.
According to the Russian President, a ceasefire with Ukraine is possible after reaching relevant agreements.
“The President of the United States set out his position on the cessation of hostilities, a ceasefire, and for his part also noted that Russia also supports a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis. We must simply determine the most effective ways to move towards peace.
We agreed with the President of the United States that Russia will propose and is ready to work with the Ukrainian side on a memorandum on a possible future peace treaty defining a number of positions,” Putin said.
He claims that the memorandum between Russia and Ukraine could include a ceasefire and principles for a settlement. According to him, the resumption of negotiations in Istanbul shows that the parties are “generally on the right track”:
“I want to emphasize once again that the conversation was very constructive, and I highly appreciate it. The question, of course, is that the Russian and Ukrainian sides show maximum desire for peace and find compromises that would suit all parties.”
Putin assured that Russia “advocates for a cessation of hostilities, but it is necessary to develop the most effective ways to move towards peace.”

Ukraine was sold down the river……….
And Trump took the bite…………………..
We must simply determine the most effective ways to move towards peace.
Commit suicide, take your troops out of Ukraine, give your self in at the Tribunal……………to start..
In short: Putin does not want peace for the next 10 years…………………..well done Putin and Trump.
Trump doesn’t have the brains, nor talent, nor the ethics to be a negotiator. His biggest talent is to open his big fat crevice to bamboozle his hordes of drooling peons.
