Ukraine’s defense forces last night struck Russian facilities involved in missile launches and the production of rocket fuel. For example, a branch of an institute in the Nizhny Novgorod region that develops, maintains, and operates launch complexes, refueling equipment, and missile control systems was hit.
In the same region of the Russian Federation, the defenders of Ukraine struck an enterprise that works in the interests of the missile program, and in the Tver region, a plant that produces additives for diesel fuel and aviation kerosene, as well as fuel components for the Kh-55 and Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Ukrainian attacks on refineries are also continuing: yesterday, the largest oil refinery in Russia in Omsk was hit, and today, the Lukoil plant in Ukhta. The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not forget to respond in kind to attacks on Ukrainian data centers, disabling Yandex data processing centers.
Strikes on the enemy’s missile program are the only truly effective air defense. Like strikes on refineries, they could be the factor that will motivate Moscow to agree to at least some kind of truce. Ukraine is providing itself with “cards,” as the US president likes to say. And there would be even more of these “cards” if Ukraine had more weapons and full access to the Starlink system.
