Yesterday the enemy hit an industrial facility in Poltava region.

Three of the five hospitalized Poltava residents who were injured yesterday as a result of a massive attack by Russians have died in the hospital . This was reported by the Chairman of the Poltava Regional State Administration, Filipp Pronin.

“Unfortunately, three civilians who were injured yesterday as a result of a massive enemy attack died in the hospital… Doctors continue to fight for the lives of two more people,” he wrote .

Massive attack by the Russian Federation on August 26

As UNIAN reported, yesterday Pronin reported the arrival, noting that the enemy had hit an industrial facility in Poltava region. He noted that as a result of this, five people were injured.

On August 26, Russia launched 236 air strikes against Ukraine. Air defense forces neutralized 102 missiles and 99 UAVs. This was one of the largest combined missile and drone attacks by the Russian Federation during the entire war. The Russians attacked most regions of Ukraine.

As of yesterday evening, it was known that as a result of the attack in Ukraine, 7 people were killed (2 of whom died in hospital) and 47 were injured, including 4 children born in 2014, 2017 and 2024.

The enemy tried to inflict maximum damage on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, in particular the fuel and energy complex.
