The bodies of three Russian servicemen, who were transferred to Ukraine along with the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers, were returned to Russia.

As Censor.NET reports , this was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko in a comment to the Interfax-Ukraine agency .
“Bodies are handed over to the Russians only after 100% confirmation of a match. Three bodies were handed over to the Russians, they were a complete match,” he said in a comment.
He added: “We are waiting for the DNA of relatives. Therefore, we want the relatives (Russians) to submit their DNA so that we can confirm.”
“I gave the order to prohibit the handing over of these bodies to the Russians until there is one hundred percent confirmation,” Klymenko noted.
Recall that, according to the repatriation procedure in 2025, 20 bodies of Russian soldiers were transferred to Ukraine along with the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers , according to the reviews.
The final stage of repatriation activities under the Istanbul Agreements took place on June 16, 2025. Ukraine received 6,057 bodies within the framework of the Istanbul Agreements.
