“This is not my country… Without a war, we will become Russian territory”
Lech Wałęsa, former president of Poland and leader of the Solidarity party, reacted with an emotional statement to the victory of Karol Nawrocki—a conservative, Ukrainophobe, and representative of right-wing forces—in the Polish presidential election.
“Democracy fell in Poland on June 1, 2025,” Walesa wrote on his official Facebook page. “Not because there are no free elections. But because half of society elected a president—a pimp, a hooligan, a swindler, a liar, and a drug addict—with the active support of the Catholic Church. This is not my president. This is not my church.”
In his post, Lech Walesa stated that the current result is “a mirror of Polish society,” in which democracy is no longer based on values such as honesty, decency, and respect. He expressed sympathy for women, the LGBT+ community, academics, and all thinking people who will have to coexist with this new political reality:
“In two years, Czarnecki will be in charge of the rule of law, Kowalski of the army, and Menczen of the economy. And then, without a war, we will become Russian territory.”

If Poland continues to support this ridiculous argument over history and stops supporting Ukraine, then the USA needs to stop supporting Poland. Poland NEEDS Ukraine to protect Poland from russia. The USA does not need Poland for any reason. In fact, the defense of Poland is a burden for the USA & NATO if they no longer support Ukraine.

Lech Walesa is a true leader and calls it as he sees it. Nawrocki needs to give his head a shake and understand the danger his country is in. Ukraine under the leadership of Zelensky has held the gate closed to the dictator Putin and his expansionist goals. Sto Liat Lech Walesa!

One of the greatest strategic mistakes Ukraine and Poland could make today would be allowing historical disputes to overshadow present-day security realities.
History matters. National memory matters. Historical wounds matter.But geography matters too. Ukraine and Poland may disagree about historical figures.
Those debates are legitimate and will likely continue for years. What should not be forgotten is that neither country has the luxury of ignoring the security environment in which these debates are taking place.
Poland supports Ukraine not only out of solidarity, but also because the outcome of this war directly affects Poland’s own security.
Ukraine defends its independence, but in doing so it is also helping shape the security landscape of Eastern Europe.
Ukraine and Poland may disagree about history, but every time those disagreements turn into political confrontation, the main beneficiary is not Warsaw or Kyiv. Every time history is used to weaken their partnership, someone else wins.

I wanted to explain why Ukraine announced a 40-day operation specifically.
The fact is that, according to Orthodox canon, the soul of Putin’s Russia will spend 40 days enduring all manner of torments, during which it will be held accountable for all the sins and crimes it committed in life—for lies, theft, cruelty, pride, slander, anger, rage, murder, adultery, and other acts of mercilessness. According to canon, during this period the soul must come to realize the full gravity of the sins it has committed. And if everything goes according to plan, in 40 days the earthly journey of the soul of Putin’s Russia will come to an end.

Karol Nawrocki hates Ukraine almost as much as Krasnov does.
He has deliberately scratched the scab of old wounds and has drawn blood unfortunately.
His rhetoric echoes kremkrapper talking points.
Nawrocki is friendly with putinoid scum Kristi Noem. No surprise there.
