On the evening of October 7, a woman tried to hang the Russian tricolor in Odessa, but was prevented by random passers-by. Shortly before that, the Russians hit the port with “ballistics” , killing a person.

The video from the European Square quickly went viral on local Telegram channels . On it, you can see a woman in sunglasses and sportswear who climbed onto the pedestal where the monument to the “Founders of Odesa” once stood, the central figure of which was the Russian empress Catherine II.

The woman unfolded the tricolor and began to cling to the surface, but she was noticed by a group of young people. People shouted for her to stop and then started throwing glasses of drinks at her. Later, one of the men snatched the enemy flag from her hands.

One of the outraged women reminded her that a Russian missile had only recently killed a person. But in response, she began to argue and assure that it was not Russia that launched the rockets at Odessa, but now a “hybrid war” is going on. When she was forced to take off her glasses, she said in Russian: “Ahmat is strength, Russia is power, Allahu akbar, God is one, guys.”Some man said to her: “He who has a soul and a heart, does not get into this dirt, there is a war…”. But the supporter of the Russian Federation began to argue with him as well. People were going to burn the tricolor, but did not do it, but simply handed it over to the law enforcement officers. As reported in the regional headquarters of the National Police , the woman is already testifying.

We will remind you that yesterday morning the Russian invading army attacked Kyiv with rockets . Soon, a video appeared on the Internet in which the girl praises the occupiers and mocks people who are heading to the shelters. The police informed about her detention – she was in one of the food establishments near the station. 

Telegram channels also circulated videos in which a man talked about neo-Nazism in the Ukrainian army and called the stele with photos and flags of fallen soldiers a “cult of death.”
