I am broken in a million pieces. They killed my dearest friend last night on a mission in his F16. It was a terrible night in which much was required of the Ukrainian flyboys to defend the innocent from the barrage of death orchestrated by the war criminals. My friend, shot down 7 weapons of death before they got him. He was 32 years old. Handsome, charismatic – the leader of the 12 pilots who were with me. My son Honor and I had much happy time with him. He was the highest ranking officer who was with me at my home while training on the F16. He died heroically. He has a beautiful wife and son. Their lives are shattered in an instant. This is now the second beloved brother to be shot down by Russians in 60 days. I will wait to say more or post pictures until the Ukrainian government releases information.

God in Heaven, comfort his dear wife and fatherless son. Bring justice to the monstrous war criminals.

With Me at my home on New Year’s Eve during F-16 training in USA.

So sorry to hear that DW P. All our thoughts are with you.

We become slowly inured to the death and destruction that we see on our screens – it’s a constant stream of death at the hands of the Russian invaders – but when it hits close to home then all the pain for all the people who have senselessly died comes to the fore.

Your friend died a hero, helping to prevent the deaths of innocent civilians

Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

Being of Polish descent and knowing how this unnecessary war started and our failure to do what we should have from the beginning, my heart and prayers remain with the people of Ukraine.

That so many who fight for Ukraine have died is tragic, exceeded only by the tragedy of the civilians who have died, often targeted by the Russians.

It’s almost become the forgotten war for many.

God bless Ukraine!

I am so sorry. These men carry an incredible burden. He sacrificed himself to save the civilians below. Instead of escaping he fought with his damaged jet to get it away from the community he protected. He didn’t have time to eject. A true hero

Unfortunately it’s a necessity that young Ukrainians risk their lives as Russia wants ALL of Ukraine .. but Russia will lose similar to the USSR and socialism in general. Victory to Ukraine 🇺🇦 !

So many of these deaths could be avoided if the military hardware being blocked by the traitor president was delivered to Ukraine! The USA must get back to supporting Ukraine and not the terrorist Russians! The blood of so many is on the traitor presidents hands!

A tragic loss for our whole country. He gave his life to save ours.
