Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on Russia’s proposal to start peace talks on May 15, emphasizing that the world is waiting for a clear decision on an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.

Tusk wrote about this on the social network X, reports Censor.NET .
“In response to our appeal, the Russians proposed starting peace talks on May 15. However, the world is waiting for a clear decision on an immediate and unconditional ceasefire. Ukraine is ready. There will be no more victims,” the message says.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that Ukraine is ready for meetings and negotiations in any format after a complete ceasefire.
In turn, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin rejected the “Coalition of the Willing” proposal for a ceasefire from May 12 and proposed resuming direct negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in Istanbul.
US President Donald Trump is convinced that Ukraine and Russia can begin peace negotiations and this day will be a big one for Ukraine and Russia.
In response to Putin’s statement, President Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine expects the Russian Federation to confirm the ceasefire from May 12, and stressed that Ukraine is ready to meet.
