In Austria, a former intelligence officer has been found guilty in a russian espionage case.
An 63-year-old Egisto Ott was convicted by a jury court in Vienna of passing information to russian intelligence services.
Ott obtained a laptop containing classified electronic equipment used by EU countries for secure communications. The device was later handed over to russian intelligence services.
Ott also transferred telephone data of senior Austrian Interior Ministry officials to russia. He gained access to their work phones after they “accidentally fell into the Danube during a boat trip with Interior Ministry leadership.”

Ukraine continues to impose sanctions on russia.
This time it was the Syzran oil refinery in Samara region. The refinery processes between 7 and 8.9 million tons of oil annually and supplies fuel for the russian military.

Just a few weeks ago, Vance said: “Stopping funding for Ukraine is one of the things I’m proudest of that we’ve done in this administration.”
As for Trump’s so-called support for Ukraine, we have seen it all.
We have seen how he “ended the war in 24 hours.”
We have seen how he invited war criminal Putin to the United States and then hung his portrait in the White House.
We have seen how he halted military aid to Ukraine.
We have seen how he curtailed intelligence sharing, enabling russia to make further advances.
We have heard his pro-russian rhetoric, his repeated criticism of Ukraine, and his constant praise of Putin.
Instead of standing with Ukraine, Trump handed a lifeline to the russian economy. By removing restrictions on russian oil, billions of dollars are flowing back into the Kremlin’s war machine. That means more missiles. More drones. More dead Ukrainians.
Trump has become an enabler of russian terrorism.
So stop spreading these lies and this nonsense!

Two Sisters. Twelve and Seventeen. Buried Together in Kyiv Today.
Liubava was 12. Vira was 17. This morning they were laid to rest side by side in Kyiv, killed along with 22 others when a Russian missile struck the residential building where they lived.
Their father, Yevhen Yakovlev, was killed in combat in 2023 defending Ukraine. He never came home. Now their mother has lost her husband, her daughters, and her home.
One family. Completely gone.
When we talk about missile strikes on residential buildings, we are talking about this. Not infrastructure. Not statistics. Families. Children who had names, ages, futures. A mother who now has none of them.
Russia does not accidentally hit apartment buildings. It targets them.

Before the war, he was a grain trader.
He wore suits. He owned vineyards in Zakarpattia. He collected Ukrainian art and funded its exhibition in European museums. He served on the regional council. He was a wealthy, comfortable, middle-aged businessman from Ukraine’s western edge – a city closer to Budapest than to Bakhmut.
