These anti-missile systems will intercept ballistic missiles that may fly towards Europe or the United States.

The US will transfer the THAAD anti-missile defense system to Poland. It is necessary to intercept ballistic missiles that may fly towards Europe or the States. This was stated by aviation expert, deputy director of the Ukrainian company of EW manufacturers Anatolii Khrapchynskyi on the air of “Kyiv24”.

“The US once transferred the THAAD system to South Korea. Now they are transferring it to Israel. And it is quite likely that the same system will be transferred to Poland. It is an anti-missile defense system that involves shooting down ballistic missiles in an extra-atmospheric environment,” the expert said.

According to him, these anti-missile systems will intercept ballistic missiles that may fly towards Europe or the USA.

“These systems will be able to protect Europe from ballistic missiles, which Putin is now actively threatening. We are talking about nuclear ballistic missiles. It should be understood that the THAAD system allows you to see targets located at high altitudes at a distance of more than 1,000 km. Shoot down within a radius of 200 km That is, they will be able to intercept missiles that can fly towards Europe or the USA,” he explained.
