For any person in the world who either sells materials to Iran that can be used for [unmanned aerial vehicles] or ballistic missiles, or who is involved in flights between Iran and Russia : Do your due diligence, because we will definitely impose sanctions on anyone who helps the Iranians to help the Russians to kill Ukrainians,” the source said.

The official also said that the Biden administration publicly warned Tehran to refrain from selling UAVs to Russia. However, Iran ignored the US statements and lied about the lack of deliveries of drones to the Russian Federation. Politico suggests that the US will impose economic and export sanctions against the Asian country.

Help for Russia from Iran in the war against Ukraine

Information about Russia’s acquisition of a thousand Shahed-136 kamikaze drones from Iran appeared in mid-August, although Tehran continues to officially deny the deal .
