Ukrainian military masters American M141 (or SMAW-D) grenade launchers
The first graduation of instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who mastered the American disposable hand grenade launchers M141 Bunker Defeat Munition .
On the basis of the 184th Training Center of the National Academy of Land Forces, the training of Ukrainian instructors for the use of M141 grenade launchers recently transferred to Ukraine has begun.
At the end of this week, the first group of specialists completed a training course and carried out practical shootings at targets at the training ground at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the National Academy of Land Forces.
The training of servicemen of the Armed Forces lasted only two days.
“One of them [ed – military] went to theory, the other – to practical application. And this time is enough to master this type of weapon. “US servicemen from the Joint Multinational Training Group Ukraine (JMTG-U) took an active part in training Ukrainians,” said Colonel Oleksandr Molokov, deputy head of the 184th Training Training Center.
According to Colonel Mykola Huben, a representative of the General Directorate of Doctrines and Training of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than two dozen servicemen from various military units are to arrive at the 184th Training Center next week to gain grenade launcher knowledge and skills.

If the system can be taught in only two days, then it’s a good weapon for fast service, and this is important seeing what’s on Ukraine’s borders.
It’s also good that Ukraine knows exactly where every Moskali bunker is along the whole line. This ought to back them up a bit and fill several cargo 200 trucks. The range on these is 1000 meters and there are many many areas along the line of contact within that range.
