The event occurred on the morning of February 18.

The Russian occupiers shot two Ukrainian soldiers who had already surrendered. The corresponding footage was published by the press service of the Ukrainian Ground Forces .

“This morning, in the zone of responsibility of the OSV Khortitsa, the Russians once again showed their attitude towards international humanitarian law by shooting 2 Ukrainian prisoners of war,” the message says.

The published footage shows how armed Russians in a trench approach two Ukrainians who do not have weapons in their hands and do not offer resistance. At a certain moment, one of the Russians shoots both Ukrainian fighters at point-blank range with a machine gun. At the same time, he finishes them off with additional bursts from a machine gun after the prisoners have already fallen to the ground.

Where exactly this crime occurred is not specified. Social networks write that the event occurred near the village of Veseloye, which is northeast of occupied Soledar.

    • Right, Bill. And the world needs to know what kind of a terror regime Ukraine is defending against. So, well done by the AFU to publish this video. This should be mandated viewing for members of the US Congress, together with a report about the genocide in Bucha.
