Russia was again hit by Ukrainian drones on the night of December 1. In particular, towards morning, explosions were heard in the city of Kaspiysk, located in Dagestan, the target was probably the naval base of the Russian Caspian Flotilla.
The videos from Kaspiysk taken by the Russians were collected by the Telegram channel Exilenova+. They also noted that residents of Kaspiysk are finding certain “objects” on the streets and in their own homes after the attack.

The attack on Kaspiysk was reported to Exilenova+ at around 7 a.m. Kyiv time.
“Kaspijsk, Dagestan was attacked this morning, the target was most likely the Kaspiysk base, people are also finding such objects in their homes as in the photo. Details are being clarified,” the message states.
Russian propagandists, meanwhile, write about “several powerful explosions ” in the city during the declared “UAV threat.” However, as for the consequences, they only admit “broken windows” in one of the houses and several damaged cars.
Their colleagues have no idea at all about the reasons for the “event” – even if they mention the previously announced alarm.
But the independent Russian publication ASTRA, citing local residents, notes that “an explosion occurred in Kaspiysk, Dagestan, previously the city was attacked by UAVs.”
” The Dagdizel shipbuilding plant is located not far from the site of the explosion, local media report,” writes ASTRA.
Later, the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, confirmed the fact of the attack. However, according to his version, it was “prevented.”
“Today, an attack by enemy drones was prevented in our republic. Air targets were shot down over the territory of Kaspiysk. Operational services are working on the spot, all authorities are operating in the operational headquarters mode. Everything necessary is being done for the safety of citizens and facilities,” the official said.
He urged city residents to “avoid open areas of the streets” and for some reason reminded them of the ban on “publishing information about terrorist attacks, drone strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the deployment of Defense Ministry forces and important infrastructure.”
In the videos from Kaspiysk published by Exilenova+, no explosions or air defenses are heard. However, they did record smoke in the sky, allegedly after the attack.
The “objects ” found this morning by residents of Kaspiysk look very similar to bullets.
Kaspiysk is located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, the city is a satellite of the capital of Dagestan – Makhachkala.
It is in this city that the naval base of the Caspian Flotilla of Russia is located.
This base is home to:
- 414th Separate Guards Marine Battalion;
- 46th Separate Coastal Missile Division of the Marine Corps.
It is known that the division includes two missile batteries of the coastal missile complex “Bal” with a total of 4 launchers, which have 32 anti-ship missiles in a salvo.
