According to the US State Department, since the beginning of the invasion of Russian troops, 260,000 Ukrainian children have been taken out of Ukraine to remote regions of Russia.

This was announced by Deputy State Department Spokesman Vedant Patel, Voice of America reports .

He noted that the organization of filtration camps for Ukrainians in Russia is still extremely worrying for the United States. Patel recalled that back in July, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke of multiple instances of Russian authorities deliberately separating Ukrainian children from their parents and kidnapping children from orphanages before giving them up for adoption in Russia.

“Various sources, including the Russian government, indicate that the Russian authorities have evicted 260,000 children from [Ukraine] to Russia, often in remote areas of the Far East,” Patel said, expressing gratitude to all journalists who convey information to their audience about what is happening in the occupied Ukrainian territories.

The authorities of Ukraine and a number of Western countries have repeatedly expressed concern about children who are forcibly transported to Russia or to territories occupied by it.

“We are concerned that the Russian authorities are using a simplified procedure for granting Russian citizenship to children left without parental care, and that these children can be adopted by Russian families,” said UN Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights Ilse Brands Keris.

How Russia exports Ukrainian children

On September 1, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Pavel Sushko said that at least 557,000 Ukrainian children had been illegally taken to Russia since the start of the full-scale war.

On September 11, the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories reported that 31 children evacuated by the occupiers had returned to Ukraine from Russia.

According to some reports, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has taken more than 1.18 million Ukrainians to its territory.

On October 9, Yury Sobolevsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, noted that the occupiers may not return the children who are taken from the Kherson region to Russia allegedly for recovery.

  1. Dear God! That is a staggeringly evil crime. We have heard these huge numbers before and hoped they are wrong, but it seems they are right.
To put this in context, it’s like invading three cities and kidnapping every single child in each city!
It is certain that these children will suffer sexual abuse, beatings and brutalization in general.
They will be brainwashed, turned into RuZZian Nazis and if they remain, on reaching military age, many will be sent back to Ukraine to murder Ukrainians.
Any individual, corporation, or country that is aiding and abetting RuZZia must be harshly punished. All kremtrolls in western media and politics must be locked up until the end of the war.
    The worst ones should hang.
