There is no final decision yet on the station’s fate.
Ukraine and Russia failed to reach a consensus on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant during negotiations on a possible ceasefire. However, if the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant remains in the hands of the occupiers, it will not operate.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement during a meeting with journalists.
“The Russians want to keep the station. Clearly, we’re against it. And we said that if that’s the case, the station won’t operate,” the president noted.
According to him, the United States is proposing joint management of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. However, this option can only be considered after certain steps are taken by American partners.
“Our position here is very simple. If the Americans can take control of the station, they will somehow demilitarize this zone. That means Russian troops must withdraw some distance from the station so that Ukraine has access,” Zelenskyy explained.
He also drew attention to the fact that the enemy views the Zaporizhzhya NPP as its own property, and making concessions is not the Russian style.
“If the Americans can take over the station, then it’s clear what their stake in it means. It’s their influence, their money, and ours is ours. And so, as of now, it’s difficult to say what kind of consortium this station could be, how it could be implemented, how to further launch operations, and how it would be managed. All of this is still under discussion,” the president concluded.

JUST LIBERATE THE PLANT BY FORCE AND MAKE A SAFE CORRIDOR……….
All the power lines to operate the NPP come from the Ukrainian side of the Dnipro, so good luck trying to operate it without power.
The cockroaches want everything is you let them. But, Ukraine won’t let them. Sooner or later, these parasites will be chased off or dead.
