Putin stated that the so-called “security strip” in the border regions of Ukraine is being created on a planned basis.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin claimed that the occupiers had allegedly completely captured the city of Seversk in the Donetsk region. He also spoke about the creation of a so-called “security zone.” His words were quoted by Russian media.

Putin reportedly held a meeting with the Russian military command, where he was briefed on the “operational situation” at the front. Specifically, he was informed of the alleged “capture of Seversk,” for which he thanked the occupiers in that area.

“The liberation of the city of Seversk and the successful offensive operations in this direction significantly advance a new offensive – a successful one, I have no doubt – in other directions, expelling Ukrainian armed forces from our territory, and restoring peaceful life in the Donbas,” Putin said.

Moreover, the Russian dictator continues to ignore the peace process. He ordered his troops to continue fighting against Ukraine to “fulfill all the Kremlin’s goals.”

Putin stated that the “security zone” in Ukraine’s border regions is being established as planned. He also stated that the elimination of encircled Ukrainian forces on the eastern bank of the Oskol River and in Dimitrov continues.
