As a result of today’s Russian missile attack in the Dnipro, an enterprise of the Biosphere Corporation, the largest Ukrainian manufacturer of household goods, was damaged.
This information was confirmed by Biosphere Corporation co-owner Andriy Zdesenko to the Ukrainian edition of Forbes.
“It is not yet clear what is happening with people, a large amount of technology is working,” the businessman said.
According to him, one person died while receiving medical care in an ambulance, and there are also injured people.
In turn, the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported one dead 42-year-old man and three injured as a result of a rocket attack on the city of Dnipro on the evening of April 10.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into criminal proceedings for the commission of a war crime that caused the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In Dnipro, there is one of the divisions of Biosphere Corporation “KPD” with an area of 34,000 sq. m. It includes production, a logistics center and an office. They manufacture products under the brands “Freken Bock”, Smile, and others.

As reported, in June 2022, Andriy Zdasenko said that after the start of the war, the Biosphere Corporation partially relocated production and logistics facilities to the western regions of Ukraine and plans to organize production abroad to work in foreign markets.
At the end of 2022, Biosphere acquired the Austrian trademark Alufix , including a factory in Romania and sales offices in European countries.
In February 2024, Biosphere acquired the Ukrainian LLC Service Pro , which a few years ago called itself the largest distributor of goods in this market.
In June 2024, the Biosphere Corporation sold its baby diaper production capacity (Bambik TM), predicting a further decline in the birth rate in Ukraine.
Last fall, the founder of the Biosphere Corporation, Andriy Zdesenko, spoke about plans to open production in Uzbekistan.
