The Russian army again launched a massive attack on the Odessa region, hitting an infrastructure facility.

This was reported by the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine. “Again, a massive nighttime drone attack in the south of Ukraine. For three hours, air defense units repelled waves of Shaheds, which came from different directions and maneuvered with difficulty, terrorizing civilians. Three dozen loitering shells of the Shahed-131/136 type were shot down in our operational zone.” , – the message says.

In particular, 18 attack drones were shot down in the sky of the Odessa region, 8 in the Kirovograd region, 2 each in the Nikolaev region and Kherson region. “Unfortunately, it was not possible to avoid hits. In the Odessa region, an infrastructure facility was damaged, the buildings of which have been mothballed for a long time. A fire occurred in an open area, which was promptly extinguished,” the military said. According to the Southern Defense Forces, no casualties have been reported yet.
