The United States, together with allies and partners, will not bow down to Russian aggression and the ambitions of the Kremlin dictator Putin, who seeks to seize territories of neighboring countries and destroy global order.
Ukrinform’s own correspondent reports that U.S. President Joe Biden said this during his State of the Union address to Congress, urging lawmakers to adopt a bill laying down further assistance to Ukraine.
“My message to President Putin, whom I have known for a long time, is simple: we will not walk away. We will not bend, I will not bend,” said the head of the American state.
He emphasized that history is watching the development of events now.
“I say this to Congress: we have to stand up to Putin. Send me the Bipartisan National Security Bill. History is literally watching,” the U.S. president emphasized.
He also expressed confidence that the entire NATO, which expanded after the accession of Finland last year and Sweden this week, retains a unified position on deterring Russian aggression. In this regard, Biden congratulated the Prime Minister of Sweden, who personally attended the Congress hall, emphasizing that now the Alliance has become stronger than the world has ever seen.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, during the State of the Union address, President Joe Biden said Ukraine can stop Vladimir Putin’s march if provided with the necessary support.

They did bow already by not passing the 61 billion dollar aid bill………………
… and Biden has refused to use the executive possibilities at his hand to at least reduce the impact of the stop of the arms delivery program. What’s his verbal grandstanding against Putin good for, when there’s no action to follow it up? Ukraine doesn’t need speeches, but shells! 😠
I thought it was one of his better speeches. A couple points I didn’t like but expected as much. Was many pie crust promises as well.(Easily made, easily broken.) Stuff that was already approved is still making its way into Ukraine, due to logistics and Poland not regulating it’s border and holding pro rashist hooligans accountable. But as Sir Gray said Ukraine needs ammunition more than anything right now and actions speak louder than words.
0’18” look at the guy on the right…
Has the Red threat finally struck his conscience or his brain?
It’s a beginning. I hope for the start of the big decisions and maneuvers that will push Moscow back into its hole. Russia is a terrorist dictatorship that must be stopped at all costs.
Republicans, We implore you to put the aid plan for Ukraine to a vote and respond favorably.
It isn’t all republicans. It’s the f**kin Maga assholes
Far be it from me to put all Republicans in the same bag. We all know who the legislative terrorists are (8 Gaetz…) But it is this political family that holds the keys to Ukraine’s future. We can turn the issue in any direction, but if behind the closed doors of the Republican Party a consensus on support for Ukraine is not found, the aid package will never make it to the House.
“MAGA Mike” Johnson is nodding his head, but he’s still not letting it get voted on.
I’m in favor of passing the original bill without delay. But in case of zero progress on the battlefield future aid packages should be tied to the will to negotiate.
