The Russian ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, threatened America with a direct military confrontation with the Russian Federation in the event of further support for the Ukrainian government.

American President Joe Biden, during his next speech in Washington on March 11, said that the United States does not plan to go to war with Russia . However, Biden stressed, NATO will “defend every inch of its territory.”

The US 3rd Air Force has 3 squadrons one of F-15Cs and 2 F-16s. One F-16 squadron specializes in Supresstion of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) missions. In Desert Strom the US had 200 fighters in Saudi Arabia in 24 hrs. Europe is closer.
