The warehouses of the Bundeswehr, the German Armed Forces, have run out of weapons that can be supplied to Ukraine. However, the industry of the state will continue to supply the Ukrainian defenders.
This statement was made by German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht in a fresh interview with the Augsburger Allgemeine portal .
The journalist asked the official whether Germany would follow the call of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to help Ukraine more with weapons.
Lambrecht responded to this with the following words: “Of course, we are all called to support Ukraine in its courageous struggle. However, I must be honest and say that we have reached the limit in supplies from the Bundeswehr stocks. For [Germany] troops must remain able to guarantee the defense of the country and the [NATO] alliance.”
In her comment, Lambrecht stressed that Germany would try to do more for Ukraine. Now it is being discussed what supplies the country’s industry can provide directly. Apparently, we are talking about a certain weapon, but the Minister of Defense did not share the details on this matter.
Recall that during the current week it was expected that a decision would be made to transfer about 100 high-tech tanks to Ukraine. But according to the portal Politico, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is delaying deliveries .

Both of the last two Chancellors badly neglected the military. Much of the time, They didn’t even have the money for routine maintenance. The Bundeswehr became a deep shame before the rest of the world.
As I said earlier, this is not the Germany I left in ’69.

They have zero sense of urgency. Going back years and years, Germany has never been a friend of Ukraine. I don’t understand it because even today Germans are welcome in Ukraine despite never admitting their atrocities in Ukraine. Most of the Soviet soldiers in WWII were Ukrainians and Belarussians but Germany compensated Russia…Because they have gas?…
