Kostenko claims that the situation at the front is not critical, and he does not see any prospects of losing the war.

People’s Deputy and Secretary of the Committee, Secretary of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Roman Kostenko believes that the aid package, which should be considered in the US House of Representatives , could help Ukraine level the situation on the battlefield and even seize the initiative.
“We hope that a new package of our partners, the United States, will be voted on. We see a serious package there, in particular ATACMS. I think this will generally give us the opportunity not only to level out, but also to seize the initiative,” he said on the air of the “Freedom” program Live”.
Kostenko claims that the situation at the front is not critical, and he does not see any prospects of losing the war. However, he does not deny that the enemy has indeed seized the initiative in some areas.
“But it cannot be said that there is some kind of strategically critical direction. There is no such situation as it was in 2022. The issue, on the contrary, is leveling out. Supplies are coming from Europe. I, as the secretary of the committee, see those supplies, they report to me what, when It’s coming to us. Yes, there were drawdowns, but now supplies are increasing,” the people’s deputy added.
Help for Ukraine from the United States – forecasts
CIA Director William Burns said that if US lawmakers do not approve aid to Ukraine now, it could lose the war by the end of 2024. He called on lawmakers to pass additional legislation that would provide billions of dollars to support Ukraine.
“With the boost that military assistance will provide, both practically and psychologically, the Ukrainians are well positioned to hold out until 2024 and destroy Putin’s arrogant view that time is on his side. There is a very real risk that the Ukrainians could lose on the battlefield until the end of 2024, or at least put Putin in a position where he can essentially dictate the terms of a political settlement,” Burns said.

“Kostenko claims that the situation at the front is not critical,”
I don’t think it’s reasonable to deny a fact that’s obvious from the news. Kostenko’s ruining his credibbility for nothing. Ukraine can’t wait for urgently needed supplies, from the US or other Nato countries, any longer. His own president had admitted that:
