The Pentagon is using polygraphs to search for those who complained to journalists about Musk – Bloomberg

The day before, Musk promised that these people would definitely be found.

Pentagon employees have begun taking polygraph tests to find those who complained to journalists about the scandalous billionaire Elon Musk , Bloomberg reports .

A loud scandal erupted in the United States the other day when journalists from The New York Times learned that Musk was allowed to attend a closed briefing for the US leadership on the strategy for a possible war with China. In addition to the fact that Musk has a large business in the PRC and good relations with the Communist Party there, he is not a full-fledged US civil servant. Therefore, his powers and access to secret information are nominally very limited.

Both President Donald Trump and Musk reacted angrily to the publication, calling the information contained therein fake. They denied that the Pentagon briefing was dedicated to the topic of China. At the same time, Musk promised to find and punish those Pentagon officials who leaked to journalists about his participation in closed briefings.

On the eve of the US Department of Defense Chief of Staff Joe Casper announced that the investigation into the information leak “will begin immediately and conclude with a report to the Secretary of Defense.”

“The report will include a comprehensive list of unauthorized disclosures at the Department of Defense and recommendations for improving such efforts,” Kasper said.

  1. And when the lie detector doesn’t dispense the desired results, waterboarding surely will.
