The occupiers transported children from a social center in Khartsyzk to Moscow for assimilation.

To achieve this, they organized a standard propaganda program, which is routinely conducted during the deportation of children to russ. This includes excursions to places of “russian glory” and placement in russian families, aiming to assimilate Ukrainian children. Often, these children remain in their new “families” permanently. The kremlin continues to impose russian identity on Ukrainians, using such methods as part of its genocidal policy.

These actions violate the Geneva Convention and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

5. Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (1998)
   • Article 7 (Crimes Against Humanity): Forced displacement of populations is a crime against humanity.
   • Article 8 (War Crimes): Deportation or forcible transfer of populations from occupied territories is a war crime.
