Four private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged, one residential building was completely destroyed.

The occupiers dealt another blow to Odessa and the region, launching three missiles, which were shot down, but the debris fell on a residential area, which led to destruction, and a child was injured.

This was reported by the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine. “From a tactical aircraft from the Black Sea, the enemy launched missile strikes, probably X-59. The air defense forces destroyed three missiles,” the report says.

As a result of falling debris from the downed missiles, a fire broke out, which, according to the military, rescuers have already extinguished. Four private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged. One private residential building was completely destroyed. Five civilians were injured, including a child who was hospitalized. Three people refused hospitalization.

As the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper clarified , destruction and fire occurred in the private sector of Odessa. “Residential buildings were destroyed, in one of which there were a woman and a 3-year-old child. They were saved,” the official emphasized.

According to him, the child was taken to the hospital, doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance. Rescuers and utility services continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

The regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service said that a one-story house was destroyed and nearby buildings were damaged.

“Again, civilian infrastructure, again residential buildings became the target of the enemy. As a result of another missile attack on Odessa, a one-story house was destroyed and nearby buildings were damaged. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire and prevented the fire from spreading,” the State Emergency Service department said.

It is clarified that three adults refused hospitalization, and the child and woman were hospitalized.

Attacks of the occupiers in the Odessa region

At dawn on April 20, the Russian occupiers sent X-59 guided missiles from tactical aircraft into the Odessa region. Both targets were destroyed in the Black Sea. Already in the morning, the enemy launched a terrorist ballistic strike from the temporarily occupied Crimea in Odessa, hitting an infrastructure facility.

On April 19, the Russian army attacked the region with ballistic missiles. The port infrastructure was damaged. A man was injured and was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound. The missile strike destroyed containers with agricultural products that were supposed to be exported to countries in Asia and Africa. Two terminals in the Yuzhny port, which specialize in transshipment of agricultural products, were attacked .
