On Sunday, September 13, Russian occupiers attacked an emergency medical vehicle with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson . A 49-year-old driver and a 44-year-old paramedic were injured.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin, Censor.NET reports.

Direct hit on an ambulance

“The enemy drone directly hit the ambulance. As a result of the direct hit, the vehicle caught fire and burned to the ground. Two medical workers were injured – a 49-year-old driver and a 44-year-old paramedic,” the report said.

A burning ambulance engulfed in flames and smoke, with large fire protruding from the rear and sides, indicating an intense fire.

Evacuation of victims to hospital

The injured were taken to the hospital for examination and necessary assistance. A patient who was being transported by the brigade during the attack was also evacuated to the hospital.
