The occupiers almost halved the use of drones in the south: Voloshyn named the reasons

On the southern front, the Russian occupation army has almost halved the use of drones. The decrease in UAV activity is due to weather conditions, in particular fog.

However, the invaders, as before, are still making attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense. This was stated by the press secretary of the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshyn during the telethon.

According to Voloshin, the Russians have almost halved their drone use due to the thick fog. He explained that the bad weather conditions have reduced the activity of kamikaze drones, drop drones, and reconnaissance aircraft by almost half.

At the same time, Voloshyn emphasized that the number of infiltration attempts has not decreased. Therefore, Ukrainian search groups remain active in order to detect and destroy the enemy in a timely manner.

“At the same time, the enemy is not reducing its assault activity. It is carrying out assault operations in small groups, and in some places it is bringing up tanks, armored vehicles, and even motorcyclists,” said a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces.

As a reminder, Ukraine and Norway have agreed to jointly produce drones. The pilot production line is planned to be launched next year.

OBOZ.UA previously reported that Ukraine and the United Kingdom have signed a licensing agreement for the Ukrainian Octopus interceptor drone, also known as the “shaheed hunter.” The agreement is a step towards the future production of the anti-aircraft drone in Albion.
